Workers’ Compensation
Dr. Best has extensive experience in managing patients with work-related injuries. His goal with every patient is to determine a precise and timely diagnosis and formulate a comprehensive treatment plan to decrease pain, improve function, and facilitate an appropriate return to work. In addition, Dr. Best and his staff are familiar with all of the logistical requirements of managing work injuries including routine communication with your employer, workers’ compensation insurance carrier, attorney, and/or case manager. In addition, given Dr. Best’s reputation and experience in managing spine, musculoskeletal, and chronic pain conditions, he is able to navigate the workers’ compensation process facilitating approvals and authorizations. Dr. Best is not employed by or affiliated with any insurance company or employer. As a physician, his commitment is to the patient and providing them the best possible care to maximize their recovery and optimize their outcome.
If your spine, musculoskeletal, or chronic pain condition is due to an accident at your workplace, please be sure to contact your employer and inform them of your injury. Dr. Best’s office will need to receive authorization from your employer before we can process any medical claims. Please have your employer contact the Canadian Pain & Regenerative Institute by phone at (604) 260-4481. Failure to properly report your work injury to your employer may result in your claims being denied. Denied claims will be your responsibility.
